We served on mission in Russia, working in Moscow, Tver, and many villages on the way to St. Petersburg. We met in homes by invitation, and also did some witnessing on the roadway. One day we were invited to speak with English students inside of a school, and used this opportunity to share our faith.
At a rehabilitation farm, we openly spoke about Jesus being the only way to be saved, and gave Russian bibles to those who asked. One older man, who had grown up in the Soviet era told us, “You don’t know how long I have been waiting for someone to give me a bible.”
We also regularly support our missionary friend David, who is reaching native pastors who serve in difficult places.
Pray that the doors will again open for us to travel to Russia.
