Dominican Republic

Missions Around the World teamed up with Rick Via and World Reach Partnerships and traveled to the Dominican Republic, with the goal of reaching the Haitians who have fled Haiti and are seeking refuge in the Dominican Republic.  We met in different homes, churches, farms, stores and basketball courts in order to reach these precious people.  We distributed French (Creole) bibles, and also the Gospel of John booklets.  One church service was broadcast on television, and 7 people reportedly came to Christ via TV during this church service.

Also, while we were sharing Jesus in a park, a French-to-English translator prayed to receive Jesus as Lord.

Pray for the Haitian people as they are seeking refuge in neighboring countries, as well as Mexico and the USA.
